Acqua di Portofino – R’osa: an oriental, floral and gourmet fragrance created by perfumer Maurizio Cerizza. The creative name R’osa alludes to the damask rose and the color pink as well as the verb “osare” (Italian word for “to dare”). Its citrusy top note arouses curiosity with a basket of bergamot, yellow mandarin, pink pepper and mango. R’osa’s heart note seduces with a medley of Damask rose, Arabian jasmine and vanilla flower. Finally, the woody base note contains amber, vanilla and musk.
Portofino, the colorful fishing village on the Italian Riviera, attracts visitors from all over the world every year with its special maritime atmosphere. Francesca Casiraghi grew up in the picturesque coastal town. Since 2000, she has been trying to capture the idyllic beauty and Mediterranean flair of her homeland in an olfactory way with her perfume line “Acqua di Portofino”.
